My adorable little family

We had our family pictures taken in June. I am actually very surprised at how well they turned out considering that Dominic was not wanting to take part in any of it. He absolutely refused to smile at any point during the day. What can you do? He is just so cute though, even when he is grumpy! :) Oh, and man oh man how I don't miss my long, straight hair!

Now I don't want to name names or point any fingers, but somebody *cough cough* Nathan!* lost our camera! Yeah, tell me about it! This is absolutely not acceptable when you have a baby! We have been without it for months now and I have just been hoping that it will just pop up one day. No such luck. I think it is finally time to give in and buy a new one so I can take pictures of my little guy who is practically a grown up now!! Oh and our cute little puppy who is an absolute handful! Geez, puppies are more stressful than babies!

Sand Dunes... Maybe

Instead of fighting with the crowd on Easter weekend, we decided to go to the sand dunes the week before. This was not the best idea. There were hardly any people there, which was nice, but the weather was terrible! Monday and Tuesday had such awful winds that you couldn't even leave the trailor! Then it began to rain and snow. We were only able to take the kids outside for short periods just a few times. They were so bored of being stuck inside the entire time. Unfortunately, things didn't end well and we ended up leaving early. Nate was able to get a few good rides in so he was at least happy. Oh well, we'll just have to try again!

So a couple of weeks ago while I was cleaning up around the house Dominic was running around playing with one of his little disney balls. I hadn't seen him for a few minutes when I started to hear a muffled whinig. I went to his room to look for him and I didn't see him, so I proceeded to our bedroom where the noise got a little louder. The ball had rolled under our bed and my little guy crawled after it only to sit up and realize that he didn't know how to get back out. I just couldn't resist snapping a few pics before I rescued him!

A whole year old!

Let me just start out by saying Holy crap! I can't believe my little dooder is a whole year old! He is practically a grown up!! He is just the sweetest, most adoreable guy I know. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. I don't know what we would do without him. For his birthday we just had a small party with family and friends. We had chairs lined up throught the front room and into the kitchen and dining room. We barely had enough room to seat everyone that came! We had such a fun time opening gifts and having cake. Dominic had a late nap so he was a little grumpy but as soon as that cake came out he perked right up! He got so many fun gifts including trucks, a basketball hoop, baseball T, a jackhammer, and many others.

Disney on Ice

Me an Dominic

Okay so I haven't kept up on my blogging... at all! Let's start with this. On March 13th Nate's mom had invited us to go to the Disney on Ice show. At first I was a little skeptical since it appeared to be full of princesses and everyone knows how boyish my son is, but I decided to go anyway. We went with my sister-in-law, Keisha, and her two little girls. My neice, Rylie, looked so dang cute in her little princess dress! She even had her own purse and gloves to match her outfit.

Dominic did so awesome during the show. It didn't hurt that we were sitting in the 3rd row! We could see everything! He sat through all of the cars section, the little mermaid (the fish were especially interesting), and he even laughed and clapped during the lion king. However, by the time that TinkerBell came out he was done. He was fussy and didn't want to sit any longer, but what more could I expect from him? He is a little man afterall. Unfortunately my camera ran out of memory during the show. It turned out to be a pretty fun trip and it definitely wore the kids out so it was totally worth it!
